BIO

I started working with Norway Says founder Andreas
Engesvik in August 2010. Working my way up to
senior designer at his studio, I had the opportunity to
work on a multitude of diverse projects for domestic
and international companies.

I have also worked as designer and project leader
at Ren Reklame, taking my masters thesis out into
the world.

An education at the Institute of Design at AHO covers
a wide range of design topics, and works within two
main areas; product design and interaction design.
The education focuses heavily on a process driven
approach to design.

In 2008 I exchanged to the Technical University in
Lisbon, where I focused my studies on Visual
Communication and Typography. Working with
graphic design was a real eye opener. It taught me
how to "read" form as a balance between positive
and negative space, an insight that has helped me
become a better product designer.

An internship at Oslo based Exil Design in February
2009 gave me some practical experience in working
with typography and book design. Exil is run by Egil
Haraldsen and Ellen Lindeberg. Amongst their clients
is Oktober publishing house, who publish only the
most critically acclaimed Norwegian and
Scandinavian fictional writers.
